Dr. Fatima Al Dhaheri is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences (CMHS), United Arab Emirates University, and a Consultant Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. She is the Director of the UAEU Fungal Reference Laboratory, the national referral center for fungal diagnostics. Dr. Al Dhaheri’s clinical and research expertise centers on infectious diseases in immunocompromised hosts, with niche specialization in transplant infectious diseases and medical mycology. She actively mentors undergraduate and postgraduate medical trainees and fosters collaborations with national and international partners to strengthen infectious disease diagnostics, surveillance, and public health preparedness in the region.
