Islam Elkonaissi is an an international speaker and a prescribing cancer pharmacist in the UK. He is an Assistant Professor at Gulf Medical University in Ajman, UAE and a Director of the UK Clinical Pharmacy Association (UKCPA). Islam held prestigious positions and led cancer services at world-renowned institutions including The Royal Marsden in London and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Currently, Islam is overseeing the pharmacy BMT and Haematology service at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City and Mayo Clinic in Abu Dhabi.
