Jennifer is a deeply experienced pharmacist, administrative, and clinical leader with a background that spans acute care, ambulatory, and managed care. Most recently, she has demonstrated her versatility and expertise in the ambulatory space overseeing the pharmaceutical spend and relationships with prescription benefit managers at a major medical insurance brokerage. During that time, she continued to deepen her skills by obtaining both an MBA and designation as a Certified Pharmacy Benefit Specialist (CPBS).
As Vice President of Pharmacy Operations with Providence Health, Jennifer provided executive management over the pharmacy operations across seven regions that encompassed six states: AK, WA, OR, MT, CA, and TX. With over 3,000 FTE’s and a drug budget of $1.2B, she successfully aligned her talents and skills to build effective systems and structures that provided optimized patient care.
With 15+ years of progressive management experience, Jennifer has consistently demonstrated strength in team building, technology deployment, operations, and financial management, all the while keeping the patient at the center of her decisions.
Following her start as a staff pharmacist, she obtained a Master of Public Health degree while joining the prestigious Cleveland Clinic where she progressed through several management positions that included a two-year international role as Pharmacy Director of a 200-employee clinic being managed by Cleveland Clinic in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She continued her professional development by recently obtaining her MBA in 2023 Jennifer is a focused, collaborative mentor, and architect of systems designed to improve access to patient care and improve the medication use process. She combines technological savvy with financial acumen to drive high-value results at the large system level with ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. When she is not in the room, people would likely say this about her: determined, compassionate, peaceful, focused leader, creative thinker, and very organized.
