Prof. Mohammad Ghattas received his pharmacy degree in 2006 when he was only 20 years old. In 2011, he earned his Ph.D. from The University of Manchester in the field of medicinal chemistry and drug design. Prof. Ghattas began his academic journey at Al Zaytoonah University in Jordan. He later moved to Al Ain University, where he held multiple leadership roles, eventually leading the College of Pharmacy at the Abu Dhabi Campus. Prof. Ghattas has successfully published more than 50 scientific papers and abstracts in widely respected journals and international conferences. Accordingly, he was academically promoted from “Associate Professor” to “Full Professor” in 2021. Moreover, he successfully secured two research-funding grants totaling 780,000 AED and received several prizes, including the Distinguished Researcher Award at AAU. He is currently a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK). Beyond his academic career, Prof. Ghattas is renowned among his peers and students for his motivational character and distinctive leadership style. He is deeply committed to continuous self-development, both professionally and on personal and humanitarian levels.
